| I think I've realized something. When you practice and put all your
effort into practicing, You'll always expect a good outcome. You'll
always demand more, you'll always want a positive result, a praise of a
certain kind, an approval from a certain person.
Over the past few weeks, I've realized though that when you work hard
and fail, you don't simply crash and stop. The things you've learnt by
working hard will give you the opportunity change who you are. You will
be a completely different person compared to who you were before and
from there, you can work even harder and achieve heights you have never
even imagined. Working hard is not to gain people's praises...it is not
to gain people's approval...It's for MYSELF
In the most unexpected places, I feel that I might find a different
happiness. It's should be there, maybe the things I'll learn here are
different from the things I woulda learnt elsewhere, but nonetheless,
This is the last bit of my high school life and if I don't try my
hardest, I feel I'll regret it till I die.

This world cup...where to start, I can't believe its over, So many things to remember, Ukraine's debut, Argentina's crushing 6-0 victory, Italy's last grasp victory 2-0 to beat Germany to finals, Speedy Ghana and Cote de Ivore, Disapointment in Brazil, Ronaldo's come back, Fernando Torres' wonder strike, Pirlo's opening goal, Beckham's sensational free kick, Buffon's and Cannavaro's scorching form, Germany's superb team work, me edging on my seat during the Final PKs, the rapid growth of the French team, the spirit of the fans and so much more. All in all, This is the top level of football, it simply can't get any better. Having the best of the best from every club forms the greatest teams from every country. Something spectacular happens in every game, wonder strikes, solo efforts, superb teamwork, tactictical planning, sheer determination, ever supportive fans. All these things is what makes this simple game with 22 men, 2 nets and 1 ball so damn great.
What more is there to say~

this one month, I have learned so much more, seen so much more, realised the greatness of the world cup. Its become a part of life, it'll be hard to live without football on TV all of a sudden. But I guess thats what makes this tournament so great.
